The future of social job-seeking: A visual resume?

While I've long been a naysayer of the traditional resume or CV, this concept has actually piqued my curiosity.

TO-based vizualize.me is proposing to deliver a visual resume, infographic-style, that could very well find a warm, fuzzy place in the hearts of social job seekers.

The beauty of it, is that is uses the LinkedIn API so no need to re-enter all your credentials. Smart. (I hate third-party apps that don't play nice with the big 3...)

I also love this because they're from Toronto (#GoCanada) and I love nothing more than seeing good homegrown companies get startup traction. (Oh yeah, and they took top prize at the last Startup Weekend TO.) Rock!

You too can request a beta invite today. I'm anxious to give it a whirl myself.

You can read all (or at least a lot more) about it at Fast Company Design. (Originally covered on Mashable in June '11)
